Support Florida Students as a New Worlds Provider

Partner with Us to Support New Worlds Scholarship Students

The New Worlds Scholarship empowers VPK and K-5 public school students struggling with reading and math by providing essential resources and interventions. As an approved part-time tutor or provider of fee-based after-school or summer programs, your business can play a pivotal role in this initiative. By partnering with us, you’ll receive direct payment from Step Up for your services to eligible scholarship students.

For the 2024-2025 school year, this program will offer families Education Savings Accounts, valued at $1,200 each, to cover tuition and fees for part-time tutoring in reading and math, as well as summer and after-school programs aimed at skill improvement. Funding can also be used for instructional materials, including some technology products, and curriculum related to reading and math.

Become a Direct-Pay Provider through EMA

To offer direct-pay services to scholarship families, you need to create an account in EMA (Education Marketing Assistant). This direct-pay option relieves scholarship families from the burden of out-of-pocket expenses by enabling them to pay for your services directly from their student’s education savings account. Through EMA, you will submit the necessary documentation to become an approved provider. Once approved, EMA will help you manage how scholarship families find and pay for your services.

When creating your EMA account, you will need to provide documentation to verify your eligibility. Please review the Provider Checklist to identify the documents needed for setting up your account. School and Provider Handbooks may be found by clicking here.

New for the 2024-2025 School Year!

New Worlds Scholarship families will not be able to submit reimbursement requests, per House Bill 1361. This means families will no longer be able to purchase goods or services out of pocket. Instead, New Worlds families will need to purchase from MyScholarShop or the EMA Provider Marketplace to use their scholarship funds directly. New Worlds families must submit requests for reimbursements of items or services purchased between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024 with all necessary documents by Sept. 30, 2024.
